Storing and displaying the information voluntarily provided by users as part of the virtual memorial landscape.

Free candles: The processing of personal data is based on the user's consent. Providing information is entirely voluntary, and entering the data is interpreted as consent to its processing in accordance with this privacy policy.

Paid candles: Processing is based on a contract. Storing the data is necessary to deliver the service ordered by the user for the selected duration.

The following information voluntarily provided by the user may be processed on the site:

  • Dates (e.g. date of birth and/or death, date of the event)

  • Other information related to the person, pet, or event being remembered, which the user chooses to provide


5. Data Retention and Deletion

Information entered by the user is stored for a maximum of 24 hours for a free candle. For paid candles, the data is stored for either 7 days or 14 days, depending on the type of candle selected. After this period, the data is deleted automatically.


6. Data Security and Service Providers

Data is stored on a secure server provided by a third-party service provider (Zoner). Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.), which acts as a data controller for its own payment data. The website does not store payment card information.


7. Cookies and Visitor Tracking

The website uses Google Analytics to analyse visitor numbers and site usage. The service stores cookies on the user's device. Collected information (such as IP address) is stored on Google's servers. 8. Rights of the Data Subject

If the information you have entered can be classified as personal data, you have the following rights:

  • You may request information about the personal data we process about you.

  • You may request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

  • You may request the deletion of your personal data. Although the data is automatically deleted after the specified retention period, you may request its immediate removal.
